  • We want to keep children and young people safe through our safeguarding framework, training and support measures.
  • Volunteers, trainers, contractors or sub-contractors and external providers aged 18 years and over, must complete the Your Obligations – Safeguarding Training and 15-minute video each year.
  • Caring for children who have experienced trauma can be challenging. these resources will increase your skills and knowledge of trauma-informed care.

Training is a great way to learn about child development, trauma-informed care, and other topics that support you in your role. When you feel prepared and informed, you are better equipped to handle challenges and enjoy the rewarding moments of being a carer.

Safeguarding Training

Not all children and young people have the right supports around them to keep them safe and protect them from harm.

Our training includes practical information about how to safeguard children and young people from harm, including when and how to report concerns and information about child abuse.

Trust-based Relational Intervention

This one-day course introduces Trust-Based Relational Intervention庐 (TBRI庐), an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children.

This session is for caregivers and professionals and discusses the causes and impacts of complex trauma and introduces TBRI as a model for intervention and healing.
