- The Review made 14 recommendations and 36 findings.
- The Tasmanian Minister for Education accepted 13 recommendations in full and one in principle in 2024.
- Four immediate priorities for DECYP were identified in 2024 including:
- strengthening the existing Lifting Literacy initiative
- implementing a new school staff wellbeing model
- improving alignment between our school education system and the University of Tasmania
- getting ready to trial a multi-school organisation model
