Benefits, conditions and progression
Access competitive salaries, flexible working arrangements, relocation assistance and more. As a full-time school psychologist, you鈥檒l receive 11.8 weeks recreation leave during school holidays. As a full-time speech and language pathologist or school social worker you鈥檒l receive 10 non-attendance days during school holidays each year, and 20 days recreation leave (which you are free to take at any time). All DECYP staff receive 3 days Christmas leave (in addition to public holidays). You鈥檒l also have time for non-clinical duties during work hours.

Yes, you鈥檒l be provided with the Board approved supervision you need to meet general registration requirements.
I鈥檓 a new graduate, what can DECYP offer me to help me get started in my career?
We employ speech and language pathology, psychology and social work graduates and will provide you with a structured induction and orientation program and ongoing supervision and mentoring. You will be part of a team with experienced staff who are there to support you.
I鈥檓 a student, does DECYP offer student placements?
