Course description

The Digital Inclusion team, supported by the Artificial Intelligence Working Group, has developed AI Capable training for 91黑料 (DECYP) educators.

This training builds on the concepts introduced in AI Aware and provides practical experience using generative artificial intelligence (AI) to support teaching and learning activities. The training will be updated periodically to address changes in AI software and applications, including changes to DECYP licence agreements and updates to vendor features and functions.

The training provides information about:

  • how to use generative AI safely and responsibly within DECYP guidelines
  • how to adapt text for different student needs using Microsoft Copilot’s Teach module
  • how to adjust reading levels and tailor content for diverse learners

This training is designed for educators who have a basic understanding of AI and want to build practical skills for using AI to support classroom planning and create learning materials that meet diverse student needs. It takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

This training does not cover advanced AI tools and is not a comprehensive user guide for the tools described.

This module will be available from the 3rd of August 2026.
